Activities

Playgroups are a great way for children and moms to socialize. These are organized by age group and will vary on location and times. We also schedule monthly visits to local parks or playgrounds to showcase our area and connect with other members.

Our virtual meetings are a great time to reconnect with moms from the group. These are a way for the Board members to share information and upcoming events plus hear feedback from members. Some will even feature a keynote speaker on a variety of topics, pertinent to motherhood.

Every month we plan one day trip or tour in our local area. These include Brookside Gardens, fire stations, orchards, National Zoo and more!

As a nonprofit, we also focus our energy on serving children and mothers in need in our community. We've host diaper drives, adopted a family at the holidays, and had our kids make Valentine cards for local hospitalized kids. Giving back is an important goal for our chapter.

We all need a break sometimes! Our monthly MNO are planned by members and are kid-free. It's a great way to catch up with friends and socialize with new ones.

We organize a few special events every year including a Holiday party, Halloween party, Spring Family Day and more!
